Crafted with pure, simple ingredients, and minimally processed. We begin with premium organic whole milk to which we add four ingredients: organic cane sugar, organic Fair Trade Certified™ cocoa powder, organic vanilla extract, and a lactase enzyme. Introduced in 2017, Straus Family Creamery’s rich and creamy Organic Whole Chocolate Milk contains 38% less total sugar than other organic chocolate milk brands in the market today. The lactase enzyme ingredient balances the sweetness with less sugar and creates lactose-free milk. Full of rich chocolate taste in every sip, it’s a good source of protein with 16 grams per serving, which, along with milk’s natural fat, provides satiety in a healthier treat. No thickeners, artificial ingredients, or coloring agents are ever used. With no emulsifiers or stabilizers such as carrageenan or gums, the chocolate milk will naturally experience some separation. This requires an extra shake or two of the bottle to blend the ingredients before enjoying. You can taste the difference.
