Every Bite Tells the Story. In 1972, founder Clarence Mou and family migrated from Taipei, Taiwan to the San Francisco area to pursue the American dream. With a passion for sharing the foods they loved, they opened a small Asian restaurant using generations-old recipes prepared from scratch. As love for their delicious potstickers and home made dipping sauces grew, they began creating frozen foods to meet increasing consumer demand. Still a family favorite, Ling Ling continues to use authentic recipes inspired by the regions of Asia, just as our founders did.
