MEET OUR FOUNDER JORDANN WINDSCHAUER A 30-day paleo challenge for our founder Jordann Windschauer became a lasting lifestyle when she began feeling more energized, healthy, and simply better. But finding baked goods that were satisfying and completely grain-free and gluten-free proved to be a challenge. Once Jordann started making her own paleo baked goods, she realized how many people were missing out on the simple pleasure of a delicious, all-natural snack. That same mission drives Base Culture today to make embracing clean eating easier and more delicious than ever before. Base Culture began in founder Jordann’s apartment. It’s there that she laid the foundation for the company, slowly crafting recipes for Paleo snacks and selling them at local gyms. After receiving attention from local media outlets, Jordann took things to the next level. She moved Base Culture out of her apartment and began selling to retail stores in the area, while looking for a bigger facility to be the home to her range of grain-free, Paleo baked goods. Due to overwhelming interest and growing demand from large retail chains, Base Culture built our own plant so we could continue to deliver the highest quality products while retaining our gluten free, Paleo, and non-GMO certifications.
