Since 1996, the Ozery family has been inventing alternatives to traditional bread products that are made from hearty whole grains, fruits, and seeds. Everything we make is intended to help you eat well and feel good.
You may recognize us as Pita Break, which started as a small, family-owned bakery that emerged from within our sandwich shop in downtown Toronto. Demand grew and by 1998, we began selling our flatbreads to local specialty and health food stores in downtown Toronto. Not long after, we opened our small commercial bakery to support the requests for our products in Ontario, Quebec and eventually the United States.
In 2016, our business turns 20 years old. (Time flies, eh?) And to coincide with our 20th anniversary, we decided to put our family name on everything we make. Consider it our personal pledge to you that everything we make only has the most nutritious and delicious ingredients. No GMOs. No artificial preservatives. No mysterious ingredients you can’t pronounce
